Junior Artist Competition

Entry Form


The competition will be judged in 3 age groups:

Under 8

8 – 10

11 – 16

Prizes will be awarded in each age group.

·         Schools and other organisations will be contacted by the organisers.

·         Individuals are invited to enter by using the entry form – please click on link above, complete and sign the form and then either –

o   Scan it in and return the entry form as an email attachment to:

·         The entry form can be returned straight away, but the final deadline is Weds 26th Sept.

·         If for any reason the form won’t open on your computer, please email and a copy will be sent to you.

·         Your picture should be based on the theme of “Voyages of Discovery”.

·         It can be a painting, a drawing, or a model.

·         The picture size should preferably be A4, but no larger than A3.

·         The picture should not be framed, but can be mounted.

·         Your name, school and age must be written on the back of your entry.

·         Deliver your picture to the church between 8 and 10am on Friday 28th September.

·         Only individual pieces will be judged and awarded prizes.

·         We welcome and will display collaborative pieces, but they won’t be considered in the judging.

·         All entries will be displayed.

·         The display will be created during the day on Friday 28th September. Judging will take place on Friday evening, and rosettes will be attached to the winners’ artwork.

·         The prizes will be presented at 4.45pm on Sunday 30th September.

·         If you win a prize, and you haven’t visited the exhibition and seen the rosette, we will need to telephone you on the number you provide on the entry form to pass on the good news, and to invite you to the prize-giving ceremony.

·         Pictures can be collected from the hall after the prize giving, at 5.00pm on Sunday 30th September.

·         Your personal data will be retained carefully by the organiser until after the festival weekend and then destroyed.  You can request to have your personal data deleted at any time.  Our GDPR Privacy Notice can be found on our website  -  click on GDPR/Data Protection.



Please bring the family to view the whole display during the Royston Arts Festival weekend.

Saturday 29th September – 10am to 5pm

Sunday 30th September – 12noon to 5pm
